Aguiló Wine Merchants came into existance in 1999. It is a family business, specialising in the purveyance of fine wines as well as other products such as Olive Oils of the Priorat region. We also include some of the best wines of other important wine appellations (Denominations of Origin as they are known in Spain).

The Aguiló family boasts a long shopkeeping tradition. Since 1940, the family has been dedicated to the sale of beverages and has a wide experience in the commercialisation of such products on an individual as well as on a wholesale basis.

More recently, in 2001, we believed it was necessary to take this business acumen and provide our service to a greater public through the creation of a web-page specialising in wines.

From this time onwards, we have been organising various gourmet and wine-related activities. We have periodically organised wine tastings given by oenologists, as well as oil tastings...

Once a year we organise a wild mushrooms show and a white wine tasting of the D.O.Q. Priorat during the annual Falset Wine Festival. All these activities have now been channelled into the creation of our Wine Club.

During 2004, we have improved our customer service by setting up a totally new web page. We now offer our customers all current information about our wines and the wine sector as well as giving our customers the opportunity to buy wine and all our other products through our online shop.
